A few facts about the carved gourd in my mantle:
- it is about 5 inches in diameter
- it features llamas, saddled up
- there are also men running after the llamas
- there is a lid in a star shape, and it opens
- it has been in my family for as long as I can remember
- I think it's from somewhere in South America. The llamas were a dead giveaway.
- I have always loved it, which is why I took it with me when I moved away from home.
